Anthony is a confident, fearless scoring guard who brings real bite to the floor every time he checks in. His middy is his calling card, a smooth, controlled weapon he uses to punish defenders who give him space or try to rush him. He plays with purpose, competes on both ends, and takes pride in setting the tone defensively while still carrying a heavy scoring load. There’s leadership in how he moves, how he communicates, and how he stays locked in possession after possession.
This season, Anthony is averaging 26.2 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 2.7 steals per game, numbers that reflect both production and impact. His biggest improvement has come from the work he’s put in behind the scenes. Extra gym time has turned his mid-range and open looks into reliable weapons that feel almost automatic, and that confidence shows when the lights are on. He continues to focus on defensive communication and shot consistency, understanding that growth never stops.
When facing adversity, especially when defenses try to take him away with face-guarding, he responds by staying active, running the floor, using off-ball screens, and playing physical until he gets free. What fuels him most is knowing the work is paying off. That belief keeps him steady and aggressive.
Anthony has already earned offers from United International College and Belmont Abbey University, with additional interest from Ottawa University, Bossier Parish Community College, and the University of Fort Lauderdale. At his core, he is a competitor, a dog, and someone who embraces responsibility and wants the ball, the matchup, and the moment.
I assess that Anthony’s scoring ability from the mid-range, paired with his defensive effort and leadership, gives a college program a guard who can stabilize possessions and apply pressure on both ends. His willingness to compete, defend, and take ownership makes him valuable beyond just points.
Moving forward, Anthony’s ceiling is tied to continued consistency and growth as a communicator and shot-maker. With his work ethic, edge, and competitive mindset, he is poised to be a guard who will keep producing, keep pushing, and keep finding ways to impact winning at the next level. Stay tuned.
