Corey steps on the floor with a simple mindset, play big, stay physical, and make an impact every trip down. He doesn’t just rely on size, he uses it with purpose. He embraces contact, controls space, and brings a strong inside presence, but what makes him stand out is how much more he adds to that. He can score, create, and step outside to rain in shots, making him a tough matchup in multiple ways. Whether he’s working the post, setting up teammates, or stretching the floor, Corey brings a balanced, effective game that keeps defenses guessing.

At the #PrimeTimeShowcase, in a game that turned into a straight battle, Corey showed exactly how he gets it done. Finishing with 11 points and 8 rebounds, he made his mark through effort and toughness. He battled inside, cleaned up on the boards, and found ways to score in the flow. Nothing forced, everything earned. He played through contact, stayed active, and made sure his impact was felt on both ends.

When that second half turned into a full-on dog fight, Corey didn’t back off. That’s where he settled in even more. The physical play, the intensity, the constant pressure, he embraced it. Now heading into AAU, Corey’s game is continuing to open up. With his team running offense through him, he’s showing his ability to create for others, handle responsibility, and still be a scoring threat. He’s not just playing one role; he’s impacting the game in multiple ways, and that versatility is becoming a big part of who he is.

Adversity has come in the form of adjusting to higher levels and learning how to handle physical play night after night. But instead of backing down, he leaned into the work. The biggest improvement in his game has come from becoming more versatile and continuing to build his strength. Time in the gym, offseason focus, and a commitment to getting better have all played a part in that.

What a coach can expect from Corey is consistent effort and intensity every time he steps on the floor. He’s coachable, team-focused, and willing to do what’s needed to win. He’s not chasing stats; he’s focused on making plays that matter and helping his team succeed.
