Jake is a rare blend of size, skill, and unrelenting fire, a high-IQ weapon that can tear a game open from anywhere on the floor. Whether he’s raining threes with a smooth touch, making violent cuts off screens and flares, or setting up teammates with a sweet dime, Jake plays with instinct and purpose. His nonstop motor never quits, and he attacks the glass like it’s his personal mission, gobbling rebounds like candy and owning the paint with gritty physicality. Footwork is elite, and his court vision is underrated. Jake doesn’t just play a position, he plays every inch of the court like he owns it. Coaches get a fierce competitor who plays hard, plays smart, and plays to win. Every possession. Every game.
This season, Jake averaged 12 points and 9 rebounds in JV action, along with 3 points and 5 boards in varsity minutes. At this weekend’s CincySuper60, he exploded for 18 points and 9 rebounds per game, dominating on both ends and showing his growth against good competition. His three-point shooting continues to climb, making him a dangerous floor spacer with the ability to open up the offense. His biggest improvement has been stretching the floor and attacking the glass with nonstop energy. Locked in this offseason, he’s working on lateral quickness, ball-handling, athleticism, and developing a polished left-hand post-game. Playing with Mel’s Warriors on the AAU circuit, Jake is focused on winning tournaments and building chemistry for the future, with the Gatlinburg event circled in red.
Jake thrives in pressure, whether he’s slamming through contact for an and-one, locking in during a rivalry game, or silencing trash talkers with his play. He’s driven by faith, empowered by his teammates and coaches, and grounded by a powerful work ethic. His pregame mindset is never waste a rep, especially in warmups. It’s that mindset that makes him different. He doesn't just love dunking, he works at it like his future depends on it. Because to Jake, every step matters.
Jake’s mix of versatility, motor, and court awareness makes him an ideal fit for programs that value toughness and skill. His ability to rebound at a high level while scoring from deep and playing unselfishly sets him apart from most wings in his class.
As he continues to improve his lateral mobility, handle, and post versatility, Jake’s potential to dominate on both ends grow, expect a surge in production and leadership as he evolves into a polished, college-ready contributor with the tools to impact the game in multiple ways. Jake’s potential is sky-high, and hitting the floor against good talent and still thriving will only boost his confidence and show areas he still can evolve to continue to take his game evenhigher. To Jake stay hungry, to everyone else stay tuned!
