Blue Collar Bomber:Stretching the Floor with Grit

Gabe Clemmons @Gabeclemmons1, Instagram-gabeclemmons1 ,6’10, 220l cl/o25 Fairfield High School , OH is versatile big that can bring the rain from deep,or just punish defenders with strong post moves or mid-range around 10 ft from the rim. With his size and ability to play the 4 or the 5 and can deliver buckets with either hand is a tough cover. Gabe can drop a sweet dime and put in the work on the boards with ease .

This past season Gabe averaged 6 points and 5.5 Rebounds per game while shooting 49% from the floor. Playing for Nova village UAA this AAU session Gabe's main focus for area to improve is that he wants to become a better ball handler and a better perimeter defender. What fuels Gabe the most  on the court is the competitive environment because he is a competitive person and will do whatever it takes to win! This fire is the most motivating thing that happened to Gabe while his high school season started off rough and he was able to turn it around for his team and they ended up turning it around and going on a winning streak! Learning how to deal with adversity has been huge for Gabe, helping him understand that he has to keep  having the next play mentality and never letting a bad play affect his game and moving on to the next! Gabe's goals going into next season are to get stronger faster and continue to improve my game.

A coach can know that he is getting a hard worker who is going to work hard each day and on top of that a great teammate and a good basketball player.  Gabe right now currently holds a division 1 offer from Robert Morris with interest from a lot of other division 1 schools. The numbers are a bit deceptive of what Gabe brings to the floor. He is a blue collar stud that literally puts in relentless work and his impact in games is consistent and why he holds a D1 offer and interest from many others. Keep an eye on Gabe as his stock will continue to rise.
