Jacob is a dynamic playmaker with electricity in his feet, fire in his heart, and an all-gas-no-brakes mentality that ignites the entire field. Whether he’s slashing through defenses with fearless runs, torching special teams with jaw-dropping returns, or clamping down as a defender, he brings a ferocious level of intensity to every snap. He’s a fierce, explosive, and versatile weapon who demands the ball and dominates in every phase of the game. With elite field awareness and instinctual vision pre-snap, Jacob doesn’t just react but attacks. His understanding of alignments and tendencies gives him a mental edge, and once the ball is in his hands, it’s danger for anyone in front of him. What separates him from every other back in his class is his ability to be a game-changer, not only as a runner, but as a route runner and pass catcher, already equipped with elite hands and footwork most backs can’t match. Coaches can expect relentless effort, complete buy-in, and a kid who’s ready to carry the load on his shoulders and still ask for more.

Last season, Jacob had 1,161 rushing yards, 11 rushing TDs, 40 receiving yards, a receiving touchdown, 2 kick return TDs, 2 punt return TDs, and even an interception, validating just how complete and dangerous he is across the board. The biggest improvement wasn’t just physical, it was mental. Elevating from a freshman to a sophomore, he embraced his leadership role and fueled the team with his drive. His offseason focus is locked in on getting stronger, refining his route running, and continuing to develop into a threat on every down. That hunger is fed daily by the outpouring of love and support from the Spencer County community, a bond that pushes him to leave it all on the field every time he suits up. When facing adversity, Jacob doesn’t flinch. Whether it’s trash talk or pressure, he turns it into fuel, always looking to prove doubters wrong and remind everyone why he’s different.

He believes in his DI ability and knows it will take relentless work, sacrifice, and complete dedication to the grind to get there. But he also embraces the truth that every path is different. Whatever the level, he just wants to keep doing what he loves. A coach can count on getting his authentic self, real effort, real passion, and a real difference-maker. Off the field, his faith plays a key role, and he’s drawn to programs that commit to their players and connect them with something greater than the game. His favorite coaching advice was " That it doesn’t matter how big the school is, if you’ve got the work ethic and the skill, you can go anywhere and accomplish everything."

I assess that Jacob’s impact on a college program could be massive. His versatility as a back, receiver, returner, and defender gives coaches a Swiss army knife who can change the course of games. His high football IQ, electric play style, and leadership qualities make him the kind of player who elevates everyone around him and thrives in any system that gets him touches.

Expect Jacob to keep rising. His fire, self-awareness, and evolving skillset will make him one of the most dangerous all-around players in his class. As he continues to build muscle and elevate his offensive toolbox, his future is one that college programs, no matter the level, will soon be chasing. Stay tuned for a monster season ahead.
