Northeast HS, LA

Braylon is a force inside the paint, an aggressive scorer who thrives on finishing through contact and controlling the lane. With length and strength, he’s a matchup problem that defenders struggle to contain. His ability to attack the lane, score efficiently around the rim, and impose his will sets the tone for his entire team. Beyond his physical game, Braylon embraces leadership, lifting his teammates when the pressure rises and pushing them beyond their limits. He’s the guy who refuses to let heads drop, the voice and presence who brings the fight back when things get tough.

This past season, Braylon was the second-leading scorer on his team and had 17 double-doubles, including three explosive 30-point games. His leadership guided Northeast into the playoffs, proving his mentality and ability to perform when the lights shine bright. Heading into his senior year, he’s locked in on reaching the 1,000-point milestone, leading his team on another deep playoff run, and chasing a state championship. Along the way, he’s grinding to catch the attention of college recruiters and prove he belongs at the next level.

Braylon has poured work into his game, expanding his shot creation and improving his ability to score off the dribble. While his paint scoring remains his bread and butter, he’s adding tools to his bag, expanding his shooting and ball-handling to become a more complete threat. His AAU session fell short of a national title, but the journey further than anyone expected only fueled his hunger. He thrives in front of a fired-up crowd, feeding off the energy of the bench and the fans, where his aggressive play and passion hit another level.

When facing adversity, Braylon trusts his mental clarity. He knows if he lets the adversary in his head, the battle is lost, so he stays focused and composed. That resilience is part of what his coaches admire most. One of the most powerful words ever spoken to him came from a coach who told him he had the potential to be one of the best to ever come out of his school, a challenge Braylon carries with him every day as he puts in the work to make that belief a reality.

Off the court, if Braylon is not in the gym getting shots up, he’s at home or spending time with friends, but basketball is always at the center of his focus. With a senior season ahead and the opportunity to put his name into Northeast history, he’s determined to finish strong and step into the future as a player colleges can’t afford to overlook.

I assess that Braylon’s ability to dominate inside, control the paint, and lead with intensity makes him a cornerstone player who can elevate a program. His relentless mentality, along with his scoring consistency and rebounding presence, creates a weapon that can swing games and energize teams.

With his senior season ahead, Braylon is poised to mark his legacy by hitting the 1,000-point mark and leading his team into championship contention. Expect him to continue expanding his game beyond the paint while maintaining his trademark aggression and leadership. His potential at the next level lies in his ability to combine size, efficiency, and intangibles into a package that college coaches value highly, a competitor ready to rise. Stay tuned.
