AAU: Mac Irvin Fire (EYBL)

Jack is a lightning bolt in sneakers, explosive, crafty, and fearless with a nonstop motor. He’s the kind of player who makes every second count, whether he’s skying for rebounds, locking down elite scorers, or raining jumpers from beyond the arc. With a 40-inch vertical, a 7’11” standing reach, and nonstop hustle, Jack plays much bigger than his size, outjumping forwards, outsmarting defenders, and outworking everyone in the gym. He’s a pure shooter with a sniper’s touch, hitting threes at a blistering 43% clip, but his impact doesn’t stop there. He’s also a tenacious rebounder from the guard spot, a brilliant finisher, and a dynamic playmaker who thrives in team basketball.

His freshman season was a stat-stuffer, he averaged 16 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists, 1.7 blocks, and less than one turnover per game, while shooting nearly 67% from the field. The consistency he added on both ends of the floor transformed him into a complete weapon. Offensively, he’s lethal with a punishing middy and from three. Defensively, he brings energy, toughness, and precision. His biggest offseason focus has been building even more quickness, tightening his handles, and raising his vertical from 40” to a goal of 45” by season’s start. He studies film constantly, working to master the small details, perfecting footwork, decision-making, and timing in all phases of the game.

Playing for high-profile programs like Mac Irvin Fire on the EYBL circuit, Jack has embraced the challenge of evolving from a go-to scorer into a smart, efficient role player who brings elite energy and skill to every possession. He understands his job, executes it with pride, and maximizes every touch. Whether it's a corner three, an acrobatic finish, or a lockdown defensive stand, Jack delivers. Coaches can expect a highly coachable leader with sky-high IQ, intensity in every drill, and production with minimal mistakes.

At the StellarHoops Elite 60 National Camp, he made noise again, dropping 23 points on 8-of-12 shooting (67%) and showing exactly why he’s a rising name in national rankings. He moves off the ball like a seasoned vet, uses every bounce wisely, and always finds a way to his sweet spots.

Jack’s goals this AAU season were to lead when he’s on the floor and develop in every rep. Mission accomplished. Now he’s looking forward to building a winning season with some of the top talent in the country while continuing to elevate every area of his game. He’s not chasing hype but the mastery of his craft.

What drives him isn’t noise or flash, but focus. He doesn’t get too high or too low, keeps his emotions in check, and plays with relentless energy and clarity. He handles adversity by meeting it with poise. Pressure becomes fuel. The best advice he received is “Nothing will ever be handed to you. You have to earn it yourself.” And that’s exactly what he’s doing, every day, every drill, every possession.

Off the court, Jack enjoys fishing, being outdoors, and soaking up time with family. He’s learning to drive, enjoying the ride, and building something real, brick by brick, with discipline and heart.

I assess that Jack Fabian is a coach’s dream. He brings elite shooting, court vision, rebounding toughness, and defensive fire, all while keeping turnovers low and energy high. His feel for the game and two-way motor make him an immediate game-changer. Programs looking for a high-IQ guard who can lead, stretch the floor, and defend with intensity should circle his name fast.

With national exposure growing, explosive athleticism, and constant work on his skill set, Jack’s ceiling keeps rising. He’s proven he can thrive in any system, play any role, and make winning plays on every level. Expect him to be a nationally recognized name in the Class of 2028, and a future star with the game and mindset to back it up. Stay tuned to see just how high he flies.
