Alex is a dominant, freakish force built to control the game from the inside out. Standing at 7 feet tall with a 7’3” wingspan, he’s a relentless rim protector and an absolute game-changer in the paint. His size alone creates problems, but it’s his fierce motor, explosive athleticism, and punishing style of play that make him a true matchup nightmare. Offensively, he punishes defenders on the block with elite footwork, powerful finishes, and rim-rattling dunks that shake the gym. He can pass with purpose out of the post and makes smart decisions under pressure. On the defensive end, he swallows up space, erases shots with ruthless timing, and fuels fast breaks by owning the glass and sprinting the floor like a runaway freight train. Alex isn’t just big but mobile, active, and fully engaged every possession. His energy and presence fuel his teammates and strike fear into opponents.
This past season, Alex was named 2nd Team All-City League and finished as the 6A Shot Block Leader in Colorado, earning him recognition as the #4 ranked center in the state by PrepHoops. His most dramatic improvement came from a massive physical transformation, growing three inches and gaining 40 pounds. That added size and strength helped him gain position under the rim and dominate the interior like never before. He’s now focused on expanding his game: improving his jumper, tightening his handles, and becoming even more dangerous off the ball.
This summer, he’s training with intense focus, two-a-day sessions that combine skill work, strength training, and on-court development. His run with PLUTO in the EYBL Champions League has elevated his game against national competition, opening his eyes to the speed and physicality outside Colorado. One of his favorite stops so far was Memphis, playing in front of Ja Morant and soaking up every minute of it. His AAU goals are clear: win games, get seen, and continue growing into the dominant big man every coach wants.
Alex is fueled by blocks and dunks, those moments when he stamps his authority on the game and flips momentum with one violent play at the rim. He handles adversity by taking it head-on, with toughness and determination. The best advice he’s been given is, " Always stay locked in and move on to the next play." That keeps him dangerous and evolving. At just 16 years old, he’s barely scratching the surface of what he can become.
I assess that Alex’s ability to alter the game on both ends gives him huge value at the college level. His rare combination of elite length, mobility, strength, and shot-blocking instincts makes him a defensive anchor and a high-percentage finisher on offense. He’s not just a post-up big but a high-motor athlete who brings next-level energy, effort, and explosiveness to every play. Programs looking for a rim-running, rim-protecting big with sky-high potential should have him at the top of their board.
The ceiling for Alex is massive. He’s already proving he can hang with top competition in the EYBL, and as he continues evolving his skills and expanding his offensive arsenal, he could develop into one of the most feared interior presences in the country. Expect his name to keep climbing the rankings, and don’t be surprised when he becomes a priority recruit for high-major programs coast to coast. Stay tuned for a monster season ahead.
