Landon is an explosive high flyer who changes the game the second he gets a step. One wrong move and it’s poster time, with rim-rocking throwdowns that ignite the gym and swing momentum in a hurry. Fast, athletic, and crafty, he brings real juice on the offensive end, attacking from multiple angles while still playing within the flow. He is not just a finisher, though. Landon is a true three-level scorer who sees the floor well, makes the right reads, and plays with a team-first edge that shows up possession after possession.

What separates Landon is how much he impacts the game on both ends. He is a beast on the boards, carving out space and attacking rebounds with intent, and defensively, he is rock solid. His perimeter defense has grown to the point where he can guard -5, using improved lateral quickness, strength, and awareness to shut down mismatches. The work he has put into his footwork, ball handling, and shooting off the dribble has allowed him to play comfortably facing the basket while still maintaining a strong post game. Add in his increased vocal leadership, and you get a player who brings presence, edge, and accountability every time he steps on the floor.

This season, Landon is averaging 22 points and 11 rebounds per game while shooting an efficient 68% from the field, a jump from last season’s 18 points and 9.5 rebounds on 60.5% shooting, along with 35% from three. His improvement has been steady and earned, fueled by time in the weight room and consistent work with a personal trainer to boost explosiveness and lateral movement. That work shows up nightly.

When the lights were brightest, Landon rose even higher. In a massive tournament, he went into full takeover mode against Russell County, delivering a monster performance that powered Adair County into the 2A Regional Championship game. He finished with a career high 35 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 blocks, scoring in bunches, dominating the boards, and throwing his own block party on the defensive end. When the game tightened and pushed into overtime, his force, confidence, and composure never wavered, helping Adair County grind out an 83–80 road win. That was Landon delivering when it mattered most.

Landon is chasing a 5th Region Tournament title and a trip to the State Tournament at Rupp Arena, while continuing his education and preparing for college basketball. Taylor County stands out as the rivalry game he circles, knowing every matchup is a war. What fires him up most is simple and honest: dunking on someone’s head, and that energy fuels his approach. When facing adversity, he stays focused and positive, trusting his work and staying locked in.

He already has multiple all-district and all-region selections, multiple state 2A sectional titles and all-tournament honors, and over 1,594 career points and 1,005 career rebounds, with more still coming. Interest is coming from every level, with offers from ODU (D2), Campbellsville University (NAIA), Union Commonwealth (NAIA), and Iowa Lakes (JUCO).

I assess that Landon brings size, athleticism, and real two-way impact to a college program. His ability to score efficiently, dominate the boards, protect the rim, and defend multiple positions gives coaches flexibility and reliability in big moments.

Moving forward, expect Landon to continue expanding his guard skills while maintaining his physical edge and interior presence. With his work ethic, leadership growth, and competitive fire, he is poised to be a player who will keep rising and impacting winning at the next level. Stay tuned.
