Eli Campbell @e_campbellx24, 6'0, 170, c/o 24 from Midland Trail High School, WV is an electric duel threat scoring option you can count on. A beautiful three point shot. Crafty finisher at the rim. Eli can drop a sweet dime. But with a high IQ Eli can beat you with his mind and his skills. May not be the tallest, fastest, biggest or jump the highest but will do whatever it takes to win by playing smart fundamentally sound basketball.
Last season Eli averaged 12 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 steals and drew 2 charges per game. Favorite highlight was going 9/9 from 3 point range which tied the School record for most made threes in one game and broke the school record for best percentage from three point range while finishing the game with a career high 30 points. Eli best achievement was winning the 17U championship of live period 2 in Myrtle Beach. Elis biggest improvement since last season is his leadership abilites and his defense. Eli goals for this upcoming season is to average a double double going for 20 points and 10 rebounds per game while constantly knocking down shots and hustling on both ends of the court. The ultimate goal is leading his team to the state tournament which Midland hasn't done in quite awhile.
What coaches he's should know is Eli will do what is needed to get the win, whether it's score rhe most points, get the most rebounds, manage the court, be a lock down defender or be the hype guy on the bench. With a ton of heart to match his skills tou can count on 100% hustle every play.Plat. Eli has a relentless work ethic. He has lived on the gym since 6th grade. And his leadership is amazing on and off the court always striving to be the best version of himself. Eli sets the bar high for himself and those around him and pushes not only himself but his teammates to get better everyday. Not locked in on any division level but wanting to live the dream of playing next level. But his academic achievements speak volumes of his character being one the top students in his class. Also the student body president, vice president of national honors society, a leader in the fellowship of Christian athlete and a member of the nation society of high school schloars and active in many clubs and activities. This young star brings it all to a program and can be a strong impact and will excel on and off the court. This kid is a coaches dream.
