Whether he is creating for himself or setting up a teammate for an easy bucket, Joaquin has a way of putting pressure on defenses every time he touches the ball.

While many players take pride in scoring, Joaquin takes just as much pride in making plays for others. His assist numbers mean a lot to him because they reflect his willingness to put the team first and create opportunities for those around him. That unselfish mindset is one of the biggest reasons he has become such an effective floor general. He understands that great basketball is not just about putting points on the board. Every year, players look for an area that can help them take a leap forward, and for Joaquin, becoming more efficient at attacking the paint has done exactly that.
