Peyton Bailes @PaytonBailes, 5'10 , 145 , c/o 26 from Midland Trail
High School is an electric high energy gem. Absolutely fierce with a
non-stopm motor. Peyton can flat out shoot that rock. Lethal three point
sniper with smooth touch. But not one demtional as he can attack offthe
bounce with nice speed and crafty handles. This gem is down right
scrappy on both ends and just full of fire. But he is a soild passer and
rebounder. But ya gotta know that scrappy midset spills right over to the
defensive side Tenacious and relentless . This playstyle is a family
tradition. In the AAU session Peyton averaged 13 points, 5 assists and
3 rebounds. If they had recorded steals and deflections with forced
turnovers that nuber would be dazzing. The biggest improvement in
Peytons game over the summer session was adjusting to controlling the
pace of the offense as a facilitor rather that just a prolif shooter. When i
saw him at the combine this gem put on quite a show on both ends and
i LOVE scrappy play. Last season Peyton averaged 15 points, 4
rebounds, and 3 assists. Payton playing along side brother Bryar will be
quite the one two punch tough to matchup with their tenaciuos , scrappy
playstyle. They will cuase opposing guards some real trouble. Payton's
goal is simple, win the state tournament. If they accomplish this Peyton
will be a big pary of that and earn himself a few awards along the way. A
high ceiling of development and can push for a breakout season this
year. {eytons work eithic is awesome and that will be huge every step of
the way. Throughout the season we will get a good glimpse of the
potential of how good this young stud can really be. Payton is a solid D2
player at this point. Probably would consider a lower class if the fit is
right and he can excel and continue to develop. Cant wait to see this
young star tearing up WV in the
