Cannon is a dangerous, versatile wing whose game hits from every level of the floor. He can bring the rain from deep with a smooth, confident touch that stretches defenses. Close out too hard, and he attacks off the bounce with strong handles and crafty speed, blowing past defenders and rising to finish strong at the rim. He plays with aggression and purpose, never settling, always putting pressure on the defense to make a choice. On the boards, he is relentless, tracking the ball and gobbling up rebounds with toughness and timing. Defensively, he brings consistency and edge, taking pride in locking in and competing on every possession. His ability to impact the game, scoring, rebounding, and defending, makes him a constant presence.

Cannon is averaging 20.8 points while pulling down 8 rebounds per game, serving as a steady engine for his team. The biggest improvement this season has come from his role. With the ball in his hands more often, he has embraced being aggressive and attacking situations instead of waiting for them to come to him. That shift has unlocked more freedom in his game and allowed his confidence to rise possession by possession. While he continues rain shots from deep and finish strong inside, his focus stays locked on improving his middy to become even harder to guard.

Winning drives everything he does. His goals are to win the league, capture a district championship, and maintain an average of 20+ points per game. What fires him up most is momentum-swinging plays, a dunk that lifts the gym, a three that flips the scoreboard, or a defensive stand where he locks in and shuts down his matchup. Those moments fuel his energy and set the tone for everyone around him.

When facing adversity, Cannon takes a step back and leans on the work he put in during the offseason. That preparation shows in how he stays composed and continues to play aggressive basketball even when things get tight. While his recruiting attention is still developing, his combination of size, shooting, ball-handling, and production continues to demand attention.

I assess that Cannon brings a modern stretch forward skill set that fits today’s college game. His ability to shoot from deep, attack off the bounce, and rebound at a high rate gives a program a versatile scoring option who can create matchup issues and contribute on both ends.

Moving forward, expect Cannon to continue expanding his offensive arsenal and embracing a larger role. As his middy grows and his confidence keeps climbing, he has the tools and mindset to keep elevating his impact and position himself as a high-level prospect in his class. Stay tuned.
