Electrifying Stud

Updated: Oct 25, 2023

Camden Fall Thompson @CamFallThompson , 6'5 , c/o 25 from Whitehall High School , MI is one of the electrifying phenoms i have seen to date. This young stud has been tearing up the court at an all-state level since his freshman year. One of the most explosive and dominating gems in the entire state since day one. The scary part is Camden is a three sport athlete , equally dominant in all three. With his great size and strength he simply overpowers most defenders. Camden is a triple threat scoring option you just can't check. He holds the school record for most points in a season with 496 points. But not even close to being one dimensional as Camden is a windex man on the boards. He holds the season state record for most rebounds in a single season for the record book. Michigan High School Athletic Association with 303 rebounds. Camden also holds his school's records for the most offensive rebounds in a season with 133 reboundsMost defensive rebounds in a season with 170. Let's talk defense now , Camden is an outstanding defender and certainly impactes every game as an awesome rim protector and makes steals regularly. Yall this young star is an absolute beast and these have earned him the Division 2 -2x all-state including his freshman year. Think its safe to say PHENOM. Best part Camden is a team first player and will do whatever it takes on both ends to help his team win. In the AAU session Camden was #3 on most efficient offensive players in the Under Armour Association with POS ( 13.4) Points , (14.5) PPP (1.08) . #4 UA Next National Rebounding Leaders (8.5). Camden's biggest improvement was his three point shooting. Making 11-33 for 33%. That should be sending fear into every defender he will face this upcoming season cause now Camden will stretch the floor and become even more of a matchup nightmare. Making it known Camden will be shooting more threes this upcoming season and has been putting in the work to raise that shooting percentage even more. Last season Camden averaged 23.6 points , 14.3 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 2.5steals and 2.2 blocks per game which was good enough to win the Conference and District Championships. The goal for this season is to win the schools 4th Conference championship in row and repeat as District and win the State Championships. With Camden doing what he does its likely to happen in impressive fashion. What separates Camden from the rest is he never plays selfish, always operates in the flow of the offense. He is a relentless rebounder on both ends. If that ball comes off Camden is determined he is gonna get it . He can play 1-5 effectively and comfortably. Reliable scorer from anywhere on the court which is incredible within itself. But get this, his bread and butter is his mid-range game. A punisher that renders defenders absolutely helpless. And of course offensive putbacks that come with that intense board work on the offensive end. These qualities are what every coach dreams of and in Camden he is the total package and with passion and drive leaves all on the court every time to get that win. Camden holds a fist full offer already and that number is only going to continue to rise as he grinds hard to get better and better and he shows it on that court. Camden's D1 offers are Stephen F. Austin, Bowling Green, Oakland, and Western Michigan. D-2 offers are Grand Valley State , Northern Michigan and Saginaw Valley. Statement made but the work isn't done yet as we still have a couple seasons to go. Buckle up y'all and enjoy this amazing show.
